Cyber-Rain Speaks With Ewing Irrigation
This week, we were pleased to have the pleasure of speaking with Warren
Gorowitz, Vice President overseeing Sustainability and Conservation, at Ewing Irrigation.
Ewing also sells Cyber-Rain smart sprinkler controllers, which Gorowitz lauds as a useful tool for conserving water outside the home.
Ewing provides solutions to water management issues and irrigation, industrial and landscaping tools for all types of consumers. Ewing is also dedicated to furthering the cause of water conservation, which Gorowitz told Cyber-Rain “has always been a cornerstone” of Ewing’s mission.
When speaking with Cyber-Rain, Gorowitz pointed out that now is as good a time as any to begin taking stock of your irrigation equipment; “now is a good time to evaluate your irrigation system,” while making sure you’re not readily seeing vast water waste while irrigating. “Simple improvements to your irrigation system efficiency will go a long way to saving water,” he noted.
Gorowitz appreciates the “simplicity of using the [Cyber-Rain] controller,” which he finds “very unique” among the competition. Gorowitz also noted that the controller is easy to access and the system’s ability to interface with real-time weather forecasts is truly a forward-looking idea that promotes responsible water use.
The Cyber-Rain system may indeed save you quite a bit of water and money, as on average, it has been shown to reduce landscape watering by approximately 38% in a given year.
Gorowitz himself just got back from Illinois, where Ewing took part in the Aquascape extreme green community makeover, alongside other water conservation enthusiasts. Cyber-Rain is pleased to be distributed by Ewing Irrigation. We are grateful to Ewing for its dedication to water conservation, and hope to hear more from Ewing on how we can all continue to save water!
